Host Your Next Event at President Wilson House

Notice of Temporary Winter Closure

Due to preventative maintenance and preservation work, the museum will be closed to the public from December 1, 2024 through April 1, 2025 so we will regrettably not be able to host events in the building.

However, we would be happy to schedule your event on a date after April 1, 2025. Our Historic Site and Events Manager, Max Miller, is available over email and by phone call during this closure period to work on the planning of a spring event with you now.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope to welcome you to the Woodrow Wilson House in the spring.

Book your special event with us before December 31, 2024, for 10% off your venue rental fee.

What our partners are saying: “What could be a more Washingtonian venue for an event than the home of a former President?! The Woodrow Wilson House is located just 5 blocks from Dupont Circle in the Embassy Row area of the city. The Georgian revival home is meticulously maintained, and guests can mingle in the beautifully furnished reception rooms appointed with historic family and state treasures. The outside garden area is a gem, and combined with the museum, the venue can accommodate a standing reception of 200 or seated dinner of 120.”

What our guests are saying:I cannot tell you how much our group enjoyed the Woodrow Wilson House....though I think it would not have been the same without the guides. If there was anything our group wanted to do, it was to follow them and learn everything they knew. What a tremendous amount of knowledge- they truly made the Woodrow Wilson House even better than we expected it to be.”

"It was an absolute pleasure planning our wedding reception at the Woodrow Wilson House. The staff were communicative and transparent throughout the entire process and their provided list of vendors made it easy to find a caterer and choose a tent seamlessly. John and Max were easy to work with, and all the staff at the event made everything go smoothly. I highly recommend holding your event here!"

“It is a beautiful, beautiful property, and we hope to visit again in the future. Our group had a wonderful time.”

“Thank you so much for your help in coordinating! This is, quite frankly, a hidden gem in DC.”
