The President Woodrow Wilson House provides an exceptional setting for film and television productions, photo shoots, interviews, and documentaries. Productions may rent individual spaces or secure exclusive access to the entire historic house and gardens, offering a wide range of elegant backdrops.

Built in 1915 by renowned architect Waddy Butler Wood and purchased by President Woodrow Wilson and his wife Edith after leaving the White House, the house has been meticulously preserved as it appeared in 1924. Interiors include a library with a Steinway Concert Grand Piano, a drawing room with historic gifts of state, a solarium, Georgian-style dining room, and more. Outdoor settings feature terraces, balconies, grand staircases, a fountain, and terraced gardens.

The four-story historic site combines period grandeur with modern amenities such as high-speed internet, air conditioning, and on-site parking. Located on a quiet, tree-lined street in Kalorama—meaning “beautiful view”—the Wilson House offers privacy, flexibility, and timeless character for productions of all sizes.

Rates starting at $1,000 for a two-hour rental. For questions and to schedule a rental contact our Events Manager at Events@woodrowwilsonhouse.org or call at 202-387-4062.
