American Alliance of Museums (AAM) invited Wilson House Executive Director Elizabeth Karcher as a panelist on “Beyond Our Walls: History Outdoors When We Closed Ours,” where she discussed the Wilson House's Suffrage Outside! exhibit and conducted a short presentation for participants on the making of the exhibition. If you missed the exhibition at the Wilson House last fall, see a virtual 10-minute version.
Through keynote sessions (and especially this year, with its virtual platform), AAM's annual meeting unites all museum professionals - including professionals in zoos and botanical gardens - to share ideas, learn from each other, connect, and network. Participants leave inspired to make an impact on their museums, their communities, the museum industry, and the world.
