Thank you for everyone who attended "100 Years & Counting!" Your generosity is so appreciated and will help preserve our historic site so we can celebrate this place today, tomorrow, and for another 100 years! 

 

Our Centennial

On Thursday, October 14 we celebrated this monumental centennial of the Wilsons moving into the Kalorama neighborhood with music, dancing, incredible silent auction items, and entertainment! Those in attendance helped us continue our mission of welcoming open discussions of our shared past and exploring the ideals that unite us as citizens of the world.

What will these funds go towards?

  • Updating our central heating and air conditioning, which will help us preserve our collection of 8,400 objects for another 100+ years

  • Adding water and plumbing to the fourth floor for our staff members

  • Technology to enhance our tour options and to provide better programming for all our visitors

  • Increased security for our collections

  • AND MORE!
