WWH Awarded Accreditation from the American Association of Museums
9/5/2008
Woodrow Wilson House has been awarded subsequent accreditation from the American Association of Museums! Congratulations all around - to our wonderful and dedicated staff, our dedicated Advisory Board and our partners at the National Trust!

Wilson House continues to enjoy this recognition for maintaining the highest professional standards along with just 774 other Accredited Museums from across the country. We join an elite group, since there are approximately some 17,500 to 18,000 museums in the nation. In addition, Wilson House represents just one of small number of historic sites that have sought and maintained accreditation since the accreditation program began in 1971.

Wilson House will continue to proudly display our accreditation certificate in our main hallway andeach visitor will see it and know first-hand when enjoying the museum experience at Wilson House!
